COST

  • $13 per student/adult (chaperones); teachers are complimentary
  • School Check or Cash are acceptable forms of final payment 
  • If paying with credit card, there will be a $20 processing fee for groups <50 &  $40 processing fee for groups >50
  • Minimum number of students and adults for the Fall Field trip is 20 paying people.




FAQ'S

  • ARRIVAL:  When you arrive onsite, your transportation will need to park and allow your group to unload.  At least 1 teacher will need to register the school at our registration booth to check-in at admissions.   Students and chaperones need to wait at the picnic table area until their teacher registers the group prior to entering the farm.
  •  AFTER CHECK-IN: Once registered, your group can either stay together to participate in the farm fun or split up with chaperones. There are no prescheduled hayrides.  We will run continuous hayrides and load according to who is waiting in line. 
  • TIMING: Give yourself enough time on arrival to plan for unloading and bathroom (if necessary) Encourage students to use the restrooms prior to arrival to help get your group started on time. Plan to be at Merrymead for up to 2.5-3 hours.  If not staying to each lunch or eat cider donuts, your trip time will vary.
  • LUNCHES: You may have your group pack lunches which can be eaten at our picnic tables.  Cider Donuts can be enjoyed on-site or back at your school.
  • CLOTHING: Remind parents to dress their child in appropriate footwear (sneakers) and clothing that is suitable for Fall weather.
  • WEATHER POLICY: Field Trips are weather oriented.  If Merrymead has to cancel a field trip due to bad weather conditions, we will try to reschedule your trip.  
  • CANCELLATIONS: If there is a change in your plans and your school is unable to attend, please notify Merrymead ASAP via phone at 610-584-4410 and let a Merrymead team member know.   We are making a reservation for you, please commit to your day.  By Monday the week of your trip, we consider all reservations final.


School & Daycare Field Trips

Credit Card Information will disappear once you begin filling out registration. There is no payment owed for booking your trip. Payment will be owed at admissions on the day of your reservation.

-A reservation is needed for all attending to participate in the Fall activities. One pumpkin and donut per paying guest.
-One Teacher per class OR one teacher for the school will pay the balance due on the day of the field trip for ALL attending with their class or school. (parent chaperones do not register themselves)
-Field trip activity bands will not be honored for activities after 1:30pm
A waiver will be attached to your confirmation email. Print for parent signature to be collected by the teacher. Please bring signed forms on day of field trip to be turned in at registration.
